SHANE MATHEWS has been referred to as a "Young Ray Price" with a smooth yet powerful voice. His love of Traditional Country Music shows through in his performances. A very talented singer, songwriter and self taught musician playing over 20 instruments, he began singing in college at Texas A&M and has been entertaining crowds and receiving standing ovations ever since. He has toured with Ray Price and performed in Nashville at the Jeannie Seely Theater, the Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree and in Branson at the Mickey Gilley Theater, Jim Owens Theater, Doug Gabriel Theater and the Clay Cooper Theater. Shane has been recognized and named best male vocalist in competition along with winning several awards. In 2007, Shane was named Ambassador of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Showcase in Carthage, Texas.

"Shane Mathews has represented the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in the style that we appreciate. He is an outstanding young man and has an incredible talent. He has the potential to help bring back the real country music that everyone wants."

Tommie Ritter Smith, President, Texas Country Music Hall of Fame

"I think Shane is 'Retro Refreshing'. His honest traditional sound is the stuff country music used to be made of
. . .maybe Shane can help make the old new and cool again."

Linda Davis, Grammy Award Winner/Nashville Recording Artist

"I have been producing a Country Music Concert every weekend in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex for the past 34 years---Current stars such as LeAnn Rimes, Steve Holy, Linda Davis and many more spent many of their early years as members of our cast. (LeAnn Rimes for 6 years.) So I think I am qualified to know a really good country music vocalist when I hear one and Shane Mathews is definitely one of these. He has a strong, powerful voice, projects well, looks great on stage and seems to be very humble."
